...but we don't know for sure.

Google News and AlJazeera reported this morning that several Al Quaeda terrorists were killed in last Friday's raid on the Afghan/ Pakistan border. Unfortunately there are no bodies to confirm this. Apparently the insurgents made off with the bodies of those killed.

Now, who is fooling who when there is no evidence to back up claims that senior Al Quaeda members were killed in the raid? Where are the totally identified bodies of the Egyptian explosives expert and his cohorts?

Personally I think this is a scam job. A scam job to divert attention away from the death of innocent civilians killed in the attack. How can the media/government et al, say that terrorists were killed in the incident when there is no trace of them. Where are they? Where are the lead players being boasted about?

I think it is another of those CIA think tank ideas that has surfaced here: " She'itt Henry, we've gone in and bombed the shit out of that village. Let's give the people some hard stuff: There were Al Kaida boys there and we hit 'em and hit 'em good. Now let's get them names together."

It doesn't wash. It doesn't fool the man in the street. Show us the bodies and the accompanying records. Show us proof --anything to prove major terrorists were killed in an attack on an innocent village that now mourns for its dead.

Hm...

Al-Qaeda are Arabs. They are native to neither Afghanistan nor Pakistan. And they are fighting both the legitimate government of Afghanistan and the legitimate government of Pakistan.

What does "insurgent" mean?

But you are right. The CIA certainly just bombed the village for fun. After all, they get rich from bombing civilians and generating bad press for the US.

Actually, I think they will find out who died in due time.  The bodies may be gone, but the blood is not.

Get a clue dude! Do you honestly think that AlJazeera would follow "any" instructions from the CIA? So your whole theroy doesn't wash.

I guess when the "insurgents" collected up the dead, they successfully sanitized the scene of all forensic evidence too?

I'm not saying it's not a "scam job", all I'm saying is there isn't enough evidence (either way) to come to a real conclusion. The only conclusions that can be made at this point are the foregone variety, and those are based on our own biases, not the evidence. So if you are coming to any conclusions, why bother with any evidence at all? You already "know it all" right?

Don't know whether you read the article correctly Drmiler! I do not say that Aljazeera followed any instructions from anyone. I merely said they reported it. Visit their website: They gather news just as many other newsstations do. You need to get a clue!

I read you article "very" correctly. Where then did AlJazeera get their info for their reporting? I'll guarantee that it didn't come from the US! In your post you are trying to link the CIA and AlJazeera and that just won't fly. And before you tell me your not, you very specifically say that AlJazeera reported this but yet you also say: I think it is another of those CIA think tank ideas that has surfaced here:. Which is it? You can't have it both ways!

My dear DrMiler: Are you a shitstirrer, a crank or someone who has Al Jazeera on the brain? I cannot see anywhere in the article I have tried to link Aljazeera with the CIA. Where does it say so? For Goodness sake, I live in the Middle East and read Aljazeera news from time to time just like I read hundreds of other news channels. Either you, like Bush, have a fetish with Aljazeera, or you're just trying to show us how clever you are!

Go back and re-read post #6. I very pointedly outlined how I feel your trying to link the CIA and AlJazeera. And btw you "still" have not answered my question! "Where did AlJazeera get their information for their news story?" They had to get it from somewhere. All I can say for a fact is that the info did NOT come from here. And if it did not come from here it couldn't be a CIA scam.
