Business E-Mail services.

Wow, did I get a shock last week. You know how we are all so net-savvy with our blogs and mails and downloads? Well, we are. We're part of the internet revolution and if it wasn't for us Joeusers and others, Blogs would not be held in such high regard.

But, but. There are sections of the business community who need to learn a few things. Listen to this:

I lost a parcel, an important parcel which had been sent from city to city. The eminent company, a big one--no names, no packdrill---had a hitch with delivering this box of mine. So, I decided to investigate, and being an electronic mailer, not a faxer, not a big phoner, I sent a mail to the person who is the main e-mailer at said company (well, so it says on their site). No reply.

A few days of frustration. Then I trawled the net again and found another e-mail address for the same company. Sent off complaint, tracking number etc. Guess what? No reply.

What the hell is going on here? I just cannot believe that big businesses (some, of course, not all), could provide an e-mail address and have "no-one manning the desk" so to speak. I'll have to fax them now. Wonder if they'll reply?

Anyone else had this experience? I think the savvy guys like us need to give some people some serious training!

internet revolution. Too true. The power of the word is being ripped out of the hands of the elite and handed to the children in a cheap lap top... good times.

Ah...the self-proclaimed 'elite'.

Gosh...who'd a thunk it?....
