They sat there in the Monaco of Egypt (Sharm El Sheik), on the Red Sea and hailed Mugabe as a hero. Personally I'm ashamed, as an adopted Egyptian---as it's my home, to host this cowardly bunch of bastards.

An AU summit was hastily put together in Egypt to sort out the "Mugabe Problem" and they lauded him and crept up his heroic backside! Some spoke out in squeaks and it was decided that mediation was necessary in that troubled country. Mbeki (he of the liberation brotherhood), was chosen as mediator. Frankly, Mbeki could not mediate in a playground marbles match!

Those who spoke out strongly against Mugabe in weeks past, chose to hold their tongues. Let's see who the naysayers are and look at some other interesting guests:

Myanwayisa (sic) of Zambia stayed silent.

Mbeki had little to say.

Dos Santos of Angola stayed silent.

Chissano said little (Mocambique).

Koufour (sic) of Ghana, most sensible of all African leaders, remained mute.

Odinga (PM of Kenya), a sensible man, was not as vociferous as we had hoped.

In fact, they had all swallowed their tongues.

Some interesting guests on the Red Sea too. Here is a smattering:

Julius "Cannibal" Nguema, of Equatorial Guinea was there. This despot should have been hung at the Hague years ago. His country is one of the most corrupt in Africa.

Gaddafi was there--apparently "cleansed" of his Lockerbie connections -you bet.

And so was Al Bashir, President of Sudan, another war criminal aka "The butcher of Darfur".

And there were other smug criminals hiding amongst them, including Mugabe himself.

You know, as I watched some of these men on TV, I wondered whether some of them would have made Nuremberg a balloon party in comparison to their criminal acts. No wonder I feel sick to the stomach.
