A marriage made in heaven.

Mother Africa is a beautiful continent. Unfortunately it is let down--disgraced actually--by leaders who treat their flock like animals. There are a handful of countries here who rule ruthlessly and stupidly and have learnt no lessons from the past or their neighbours. Many African countries have taken a lead in democratic processes and I am pleased to say that Ghana, Botswana, South Africa, Mocambique and various others have used progress and democracy to enhance the image and economy of their countries.

When I hear that Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea are in a partnership to extradite one mercenary for oil favours, I wonder why we continue to condone these sleazy countries or their friendships. And, if one looks at the records, we find that Zimbabwe has few friends and neither has Equatorial Guinea. Both are ruled by conniving, self-serving, cruel little men with a Moise Tshombe mentality. Fortunately Comrade Robert is only a 9 out of 10 in the ranks of LUBS (Lying undemocratic bastards), whereas Mr Nguema of Equatorial Guinea is a 12. They remind me of Hyaenas. Severe bite but not in the presence of lions. It also amazes me that Mugabe should connive with a man who was once associated with cannibalism. How could Comrade Robert sink so low? Well, he has few friends.

In other news this week it was announced that Zimbabwe would be implementing broad power cuts (up to ten hours in some areas),so that the wheat farmers can use the extra power to get their wheat harvested and onto the market. I live in hope that this is true so that the hundred thousand unemployed and homeless Zimbabweans may at least benefit from this---bread is a luxury in Zim.. It would be good news. Being the sceptic that I am I think it's another lie. I hope not.

I cry for the ordinary Zimbabwean. God has given them a sick old man as leader. As for Equatorial Guinea there is sicker than sick. The closest word is depraved!

You cant harvest what is not being grown.  But then you cant cut what you dont have, so they can pretend to cut, and pretend to harvest.  And pretend that all is well.

Zimbabwe is a nation sized Disneyland.  All pretend and no reality.  Except that real people are dying there.
