I'm a "foodie" so most of these are easy:

1. Name three Italian cheeses. - Just three?  Asiago, Ricotta, Romano
2. What are "petit pois?" - Tiny peas
3. What ingredients would you use to make a Bechamel sauce?- Roux (flour and fat), cream, stock and sometimes seasonings like basil, garlic or onion
4. Venison is meat from a ____? - Deer...ick
5. Sherry is traditionally made in which country? - I'm pretty sure it's from Spain
6. What is a "Mirapois" of vegetables?- Is that supposed to be Mirepoix?  It's Onion, carrots and celery- not to be confused with "the trinity" which is onion, green pepper and celery.
7. Sushi usually has an outer casing of _______?- Nori seaweed.  You can buy it in convenient little sheets to make your own rolls!
8. Parma ham comes from where?  -Parma.  Is that a trick question?  Parma is in Italy.
9. What is the world's biggest selling beer? - Not sure on that one....Guiness?
10. What is Pancetta? - Italian bacon (salt cured pork belly)
11. Where did the hamburger originate from? - Another one I'll have to guess: Russia (thinking of steak tartare here and the Mongols...)
12. Chocolate comes from the ______bean. - cacao
13. Is a Tandoori a meal or a receptacle?- It's a meal which is cooked in a Tandoor.
14. What is a barbeque called in South Africa? - Another one I'm not sure about....braa?  (sp)
15. Dried, salted cod is known in many countries as ______? - Have no idea.  All I can think of is klippfisk..but I think that might be a recipe versus an actual term
16. Calamari is another name for cooked _____?- squid
17. What are the ingredients for "Dim sung"?- depends on what kind you want to make.
18. What is a Durian fruit?- Some sort of Asian fruit?
19. Where does vanilla come from?- Vanilla bean
20. What are the two main ingredients of a "Bloody Mary?" - Vodka and tomato juice
