Jingle hell, jingle all the way.

This Christmas spare a minute or two to think of the people in Africa (Christian and Muslim), who do not know the meaning of this special season:

The people in Somalia who are flooded out and have no government to help them.
The Sudanese in Darfur who have a government but it is corrupt and it will not help them.
The people of Cote De Ivoire, who know what a bullet is, but have no idea, or inclination, to celebrate anything.
The citizens of Lesotho who were promised much but had little delivered.
The frustrated people of Zimbabwe who have just received a "very special" Christmas present: Comrade Mugabe is staying on until 2010.
.......and there are at least 23 other countries in Africa that will celebrate Christmas with a chicken, some maize and certainly no toys.

The spirit of Christmas, and the Bright Star that heralds it, is upon us but we should remember that it does not shine on everyone.

And what does this say about the Leaders of these African Countries? Ass-holes the lot of them.

Africa does not learn from its history - it keeps electing ass-wipes who become dictators to run their countries - they then use those countries they "RUN" as their own personal banks - letting the people of their country starve. They constantly fight one another with one or other tribal issue or dispute

Shoot Mugabe and put him out of his syphilitic misery

The misery and hunger is Zimbabwe is caused largely because he took profitable working farms from the "BAD WHITES" and broke those farms up into tiny parcels of land to be farmed by individuals to feed themselves without any thought to feeding the nation - subsistence farming - starves nations!

America and Britain invaded Iraq and set its people free - why can they not do the same for Zimbabwe? Why - because there is probably little to be gained from it other than the freedom of the people..... how noble these two countries are!

Lesotho - what did they ask for get promised and not receive? Another handout - more money? More food? More medical assistance?

Africa keeps receiving handouts to the tune of Billions of dollars yet never improves, it stays one big shit black hole sucking more and more and more from every other countries pockets.

I have absolutely no sympathy whatsoever for Africa and her problems - she brings them upon herself.

A happy Christmas Africa? In a hundred years time you will still be in the same boat - starving, fighting, slaughtering......

What do I get called for thinking and saying the above? A racist!!!!

The spirit of Christmas shines everywhere, but some cannot see it due to internal strife.  It is nto the fault of the season, but of the evil that men do.

Adnauseum, thank you for this. It is a very timely reminder.

The spirit of this season is not about railing against the rulers but remembering the individuals who have no control over their circumstances.

it keeps electing ass-wipes who become dictators to run their countries

Dictators aren't elected. They rig elections so they'll win. There is a big difference. While these bastards hold tremendous wealth, the rest of the population starves. It is not the fault of Africa but particular Africans who are only motivated by greed and power.
