What's your favourite tipple Joeusers? A short quiz and some fact-finding.

At sundowner time do you enjoy ?:
A) Spirits? Whisky, rum, brandy or something else.
Wine? Red, white, champagne ? Would you try an Australian, Chilean, South African or French?
C) Tea or coffee?
D) Beer: American or imported?
E) A Coke or Pepsi.
F) The fortified stuff: Sherry, Port or Muscadel?
G) A cordial.

Some facts for you to comment on:

People in many hot countries drink a spirit made from sugar cane. Have you tried it?
Have you tried the National Brazilian drink, the Caipirinha?
The South African Breweries owns Miller. What is it like? ( I've tried it--it's crap).
Cold Scandinavian countries drink aquavit? They say it's very strong.
Is there a difference between Scottish, Irish and Canadian Whiskies?
What is the best beer in the World?
What is the best Scotch?
Why is Jack Daniels the top selling bourbon in the World?

This is definitely not a marketing exercise. I'm always curious about the habits of people in other countries. Cheers.

Mine's beer for sure. I LOVE Guiness, but more than two or three it doesn't like me. So if I'm going to be drinking more than that I drink Coors Light because I can drink a boat load of it and I don't get just absolutly tore down and the next morning I don't have much of a hangover.

And Jose Cuervo tequila's good too. But the same thing with Guiness noted above applies...

For me it depends on my mood, where I am, and what I'm doing. Typically beer is my first choice, but if I'm enjoying a good cigar nothing beats a good single malt Scotch.

I think I'm the female version of Shovelheat.... I'm not big on Guiness, but a nice Chimay red is bloody lovely. And, I don't do it often (like maybe once every year or so) but a good tear on the tequila simply rocks. (Hard, though.)

I like a good vodka and lime, with mineral water. I don't mind the occasional beer and Australia has some great ones. Mostly I stick with a Tasmanian brewery called Cascade. But I prefer a lager rather than heavier beers like guiness.

Beer Definitely.  As for the best one, I like Henniger and Binding, but have not really sampled enough to know what is the best.

I'm a typical girly girl and I like sweet mixed drinks. Some of my favorites. Margarita's, Tequila Sunrise, Strawberry Daquaris, MaiTais, Mimosas. Drinks with rum or tequila are good. I hate anything with vodka and it hates me. I'm not big on beer or wine. I have never had Sherry or Port or even heard of Muscadel. For a non-alchoholic drink, I drink Dr. Peppers. Way too many.
