Political and topical news and commentary
With wisdom as blunt as a porker's snout.

I regard myself as a logical realist i.e. let me see the facts and if they don't add up I question them. If they are fact, witnessed by hundreds or thousands, and substantiated by honourable people, I believe them. That is why I do not believe in the supernatural , Uri Geller or plain bull****. Politicians skew the facts for their own political purposes. Others turn fact into fiction.

The great (sic), President of Iran, I hear, has written to the Chancellor of Germany, Ms Merkel and told her that the Holocaust was a myth. I quote:
" Is it not a reasonable possibility that some countries that had won the war made up this excuse (the Holocaust), to constantly embarrass the defeated people--to bar their progress."

So, according to Iran's President, we must erase the memories of Auschwicz and other camps with their gas chambers, mass graves, incinerators, medical experiments and emaciated survivors. Let us bin those films, personal accounts, tattoos and photos of skeletons. Let us pretend it never happened. Why, Hell, for Ahmedinejad's sake let's pretend Hitler was a nurse in Korea.

What crap! Soon Ahmedinejad will be telling us that 2 + 2 = 5. How can a leader of a country pretend to suck up to Ms Merkel by saying that the Holocaust was an "excuse". She is, understandably, embarrassed and is unlikely to reply to the "Persian Emperor ."

Reminds me of a documentary called "Loose Change", which challenged the disaster of 9/11 and implied it was a plot by the government! You've probably commented on Loose Change before but I'd be delighted to hear any arguments supporting the plot theory.

Unfortunately, this crazy leader in Iran controls a lot of oil (isn't that like Bugs Bunny owning Universal Studios?), so we have to humour him and
not sanction him too much, so I can still drive a big BM!

The World is going crazy ---and it's full of crazy leaders too.

The only difference between Ahmedinejad and Hitler is the power to implement their insanity.
